OMG, he is too crazy to know that he bid for HWY next homes

oh - lol, no i am eyeing a nice mtv lot 10k+

Don’t change to deal with change

Poor Tomato, spilling the beans…competitors are listening to him.

I see homes above 2.5M are slow as limited buyers are there. Can you believe this home had 5 offers including me and went appx above 3M (not sure)? It took around 20 days to get these 5 offers.

Why buy willow glen if you can buy peninsula with 3M?

nice home!

Huge lot, huge house, at a price that’d get you just the lot here. that’s why?

It is near by our work/office (15 mins max commute) and near by Diridon station, large lot with single story newer home.

Is MP a white high end neighborhood? I feel that whites slows their buying first before other races

People talking about a market top = climbing a wall of worry. That makes me optimistic!

The high end has been slow for maybe 2 years now, or it’s getting close. It should be slow at the high end if you think about it. You expect them to fly off the market like they are discounted off the rack clothes? The people holding those bags are holding out and only want to sell for top dollar. You will catch a few weak ones every now and then, but they aren’t the trend. In that 2 year time period prices pushed higher.

Also, WQJ mentality towards long term holds puts him at a significant advantage. His threshold for making a purchase is much higher and will power has to be that much stronger than those that are looking for a short term swing. Quality over quantity mentality. If you plan to hold something forever you can withstand a temporary short term decline. Market makers love people who create transactional volume.

Yes, MP is mostly white.

The Market’s longer term trend is still higher, lets not be quick to call the end of it. As I stated before, it needs to prove it can bounce up. To me, its still in no-mans-land. And if we do go down from here, I would predict Bay area housing prices will correct as well, maybe lag by a few months!

No doubt, I stretched max, even ready to sell my Cupertino home for this, but got into 5 bids offer and countered with $3.1M and they needed all contingencies removed (Loan contingency mainly). I was told there was a lawyer in the bidding. Hmmm, IT guy can not match those lawyer…

No. Don’t sell anything in Cupertino for something in Willow Glen. Are you kidding me?

I already told them, but they keep deflecting to buying homes, MP, but not to what is helpful for them.

Sea sick, constant switching between RE and stock market

Read above your topic

May I remind you that you sold your house last year and missed out on the nice 25% gain since then. Who’s crazy?
