What fascism looks like. Luckily our institutions are much stronger than Germany’s in the 30s. I have been saying it’s silly to debate niceties like tax policies while our democracy is under attack.

The events in US are beyond point of no return. The tactics that left had been using for years are now being adopted by right.
OMG, I never expected such in USA ! Trump has to assume accountability for all these, and peacefully make the transition happen. If not, it affects entire republican party future candidates !! Democracy being threatened by such acts.

Protestors in Portland rioting and looting should be arrested.
Protestors invading U.S. Capitol to stop certification of fair and free election results are something much worse.

If it was an attack, then most of congress would be dead. It was a protest. Unless you’re going to call Antifa and BLM attacks. I find it richly ironic to see liberals crying about this while they’ve been silent about Antifa and encouraging BLM. So congrats on turning a blind eye to it all then finally waking up when you’re against the cause being protested.

We heard that in 2008. It was supposed to be reduced to a “regional party.” Instead it went from strength to strength.

Party is hardly important. Whether it lives or not. The question is whether it lives up to the expectations of its voters and the voters trust it still.
Arizona last voted D for president in 1996. Georgia 1992.
Didn’t stay that way did they? Again, in AZ, Biden won by 0.3% and the Dems got clobbered down ticket (one of the reasons people here are so suspicious of the results). Both houses of the legislature Rep., Reps pick up seats on the very powerful Corporate Commission, Dem incumbents in office for decades replaced with Reps.
Both senators from AZ and GA are now Dems. Didn’t stick in the 90s, but in 2020s? I like our chances. Demographic change is a tailwind for D but headwind for R.
Dems won both Georgia races with a higher margin than Biden. Turns out people are turned off by coup attempts and sedition. Who knew?

It was so obvious that Jan 5 GA election was a sting. Yep let Dominion steal the seats for a second time, sounds about right. Trump is now watching from the command center in TX laughing and waiting for traitors to commit felonies by certifying fraudulent electoral votes 
Antifa masquerading as Trump supporters are the right now?
