For sure. Very hard to get the contractors to return calls. Luckily, we can do most of the work ourselves except gas, termite remedy, continuous gutter, foundation, and heavy duty landscaping. But we are getting older and it’s not as easy as when we were still in our heydays. Recently, we ended up putting in AC ourselves with a technical help from our friend who is an AC guy out of area, AC in our RV, indoor maintenance of what we built almost 20 years ago mostly molding, skylights, wall repair,indoor painting to our own home. My husband can do electrical, plumbing, woodworking, etc. I can do tiles, wall boards, etc.
