Sound good but you sold at $80. Now trading $81s… what is the big deal?

.

Good but kinda long piece on Square. Did not know that people can trade stocks on Cash app?

Square > Paypal.

Holding a small portion of PYPL appx more than one year. This is supposed to be my long holding stock bought at $77. Not trading, just holding forever.

You should have known that since @tomato, a millennial, like SQ. I bot a lot of SQs but sold them and hibernate for more than 2 months, wow! miss the rocket :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

@tomato is gone… so did @caiguycaiguy and @harriet. Who else are millennials here? @Zeapelido?

I am barely but never used Square. I just downloaded Cash App a week ago

Millenials are old now. Buying houses and stocks. Starting families. Gen Z is in the spotlight now. 68 million strong
Gen Z : Gen Z is the newest generation to be named and were born between 1997 and 2012/15. They are currently between 8-23 years old (nearly 68 million in U.S.)

@BAJacket

Wow. The private valuations are still insane. IPO = down round.

Stripe is the new behemoth in town

What do people think of $DLO?

I am bullish but haven’t done much DD

Finance talent is getting more expensive:

I’m sure some of this is related to Fintech compensation packages and IB firms fighting for talent.

Buy now pay later is credit card re-invent.

or the subprime mortgage re invent. IMO doesn’t bode well.

Every bubble is the result of excessive credit. Even the dot com was bubble was so bad because all those companies were allowed to buy massive amounts of HW on credit. When they defaulted, that’s what made it spread so badly. Back then, companies could sell on credit and book 100% of the revenue. Now they can only recognize the revenue as it is collected. That’s honestly the most critical part of SOx.

So, are you saying the companies balance sheets reflect their real revenue much better vs earlier, hence their valuations are more accurate than earlier?
