He is 27 years old and lives in Denver. Is it a flyover place?

I think his mind is clear and his writing is better than most.

I know biggerpockets, but this book is much better than the site. The author works for biggerpockets as a VP or something like that

Denver is legit. Emerging major league.

Same here. I don’t need any advice from anyone. I only like to give advice…

I’m not looking for advice, just happens that a good book was written by a 27 yo millenial. Now I know millennials are not dumb at all

Wait a minute. If the guy is FIREd, why is he working 9-to-5?

You can project that he would be in better shape when he reached your age

I have the benefit of starting in 2011, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It’s hard to catch up to me.

Really? Did I miss the boat on that year? What happened then?

VP of Operations at BiggerPockets.com, Scott is also a licensed real estate broker/agent, real estate investor managing 8 units in Denver, CO with a partner, a house-hacker, and personal finance nerd. His book, “Set for Life” (published through BiggerPockets Publishing) thoroughly details a step-by-step journey to early financial freedom for full-time workers earning median incomes and starting with little or negative net worth. When he’s not helping full-time workers move toward early financial freedom, the 26-year-old can be found playing rugby, biking, or skiing.

Question: Is he FIREd or not?

If he’s not, why the heck do you listen to a poster’s opinion?

Uh…ok…

There are dumb millenials as well as smart ones.

Yes the sky is blue…

Yes and the night is dark…

Media has been bashing against Millenials and I am here to expose the fake news about millennials

Looks like the quickest way to FIRE is to stay single.
For those looking to get married, here is your chance.
My cousin has 2 tickets for the 2018 SUPER BOWL, both box seats. He paid $2,500 for each ticket, but he didn’t realize last year when he bought them, it was going to be the same day as his wedding. If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place … It’s at the Baptist Church, in Tampa, FL February 4th at 3pm. Her name is Judy McNeill, she is 5’1, about 140lbs, she’s a good cook. She’ll be the one in the white dress.

Take his place in the stadium or wedding? Is he selling tickets or looking for a replacement groom?

The wedding of course…FB joke
Superbowl is in Minneapolis not Florida

He’s making the assumption that you rent out rooms. Works if you don’t have a family. Can be dangerous if you do… Still duplexes will continue up rentwise. That 600K is renting for $5-8K now.
