They charge what they can get.VERY LITTLE…In the good old days they could get 10-20%…But many only get 5%…Small jobs cost more than big ones…But the clients determine the orice…the more hand holding the higher the price…Custom home cost more than spec, remodeling cost more than new construction. .Too many variables. …
No doubt, @Elt1, but be mindful that not everyone is a big time builder like yourself who probably can build a 2 bd home out of matchsticks without plans.
