Google just gave control over data center cooling to an AI. The first of many to come!

“It’s the first time that an autonomous industrial control system will be deployed at this scale, to the best of our knowledge,” says Mustafa Suleyman, head of applied AI at DeepMind, the London-based artificial-intelligence company Google acquired in 2014.

This is not exactly new news. Part of what deepmind does, but i don’t think it’s revolutionary yet?

Old technology and new word “AI”. This is like using Cloud a few year ago but Many can attest the Reorganized LDS temple or Sikh Temple in Evergeen got them way way before the birth of Google.

AI is not anything new. It is the processors are now getting better but nothing beats experienced brains…

AI etf has marginal returns (AIEQ) +15%. The CEO formerly is from Fidelity explained he uses 12 engineers to debug the trade platform code instead of using 12 servers.

Some wise man once said: What people call machine learning is statistics, and a bunch of sql queries with a group by.

Except that the results of the SQL queries are stored and used to calculate future results?

Definitely. It’s a fuzzy hashmap
