To me San Tung is ghetto Chinese food…
Bingo!
San Tung is in inner sunset, not Chinatown. Rated as 4 star in Yelp. Inner Sunset is far from ghetto
Speaking of ghetto, I drove by Bayview recently at night and the 3rd street looks upscale now in the dark. There are some holiday lighting. Maybe pretty soon Bayview will not be a ghetto anymore
Obviously, I pray at the Temple Of San Tung partially with tongue in cheek but I am all about statistics and being consistent. Something can not obviously suck if a sufficient sized pool of people has independently taken the time to say that it doesn’t suck. That simply doesn’t fly in the real world. And frankly, it is insulting to the owners of San Tung. My god, they sell out every night yet some yahoos here think they know better. Wow…
That’s because a lot of people like ghetto food…
Uh, don’t you live near this ghetto food?
I’m at Inner Parkside not Inner Sunset.
Same thing, who are we kidding???
I like to think of them as different…
Just had lunch at fashion wok in foster city. Pretty alright. It’s personal hotpot like tasty pot. Wife and I agree it’s better than tasty pot. Have you tried it @harriet?
No but now that you bring it to my attention I will try it one of these days when I am in the area. The main reason I go to Tasty Pot more often is because they opened one in my neighborhood about three months ago so it’s convenient for me
Wife seems hooked on that stuff. We may need to go there pretty regularly now…
I find San Tung to be consistent. The wings I find are consistently well-fried and highly sauced. Just because it is consistent doesn’t mean it is sophisticated - or even well prepared food though.
Case in point - McDonald’s is very consistent. Consistently not-very-good — but consistent.
You mean she doesn’t want to wash chopsticks with you in a bigger pot?
One Fashion Wok Yelp review:
Compared to Tasty Pot and Boiling Point, Fashion Wok is different in terms of the broth, sauces, and amount of protein you get in your pot. Fashion Wok gives you at least 3x more meat, shrimp, and fish balls in your pot than other hot pot places. They don’t pad their pot with cabbage, which is a good thing! They have a larger variety of broths and different soup bases such as SzeHuan spicy broth.
Now that brings back memory of Tasty Pot. The pot at TP was pretty shallow and didn’t have much stuff! With FW it’s only 9.50 for the pot, and they give you free rice. Pretty good deal I say.
No idea. I am not into kpop. I only know Psy (from Gangnam Style)…
For Chris Pratt fans his house is for sale…
That house probably has bad feng shui…
Cool house though…And I am definitely a Anna Faris fan…
A lot of house compared to PA prices
