I’m surprised they were bold enough to go in and get pictures.
As long as the Fire Dept deemed this place safe enough to go through, probably not too bad. Just fire damage (I’ve had a kitchen fire in one my units before.)
It is a 2750 sq.ft. lot. is it worth 499k plus tear down costs?

Absolutely. Fire sale indeed!
It will be interesting what the selling price will be. Assuming no real structural damage and more surfacey damage I am going to guess $750k.
