Hong Kong apartment prices

So would you rather be that agent or the seller??? Or the buyer???

In this case, I will take any piece of the deal that is given to me…

The only deal you’re going to get here is when you get to sell your Sunset or Oakland homes for a happy retirement…

After @aalj got me all excited about Chinatown I can see myself cashing in everything and returning to 94133. My wifey will be kicking and screaming, but I suspect the net proceed$$$ should shut her up nicely…

Why not? R & G Lounge would just be a short stride away…

Heheh - Chinese food here is crap compared to HK and Vancouver but waaaaay better than the Midwest. Once you get older you start cooking more at home anyways to avoid grease, salt, etc … which has been my experience.

94133 will do well over the next decade — subway and new age Brandon Jew / George Chen types —— I can’t stand HK any more in my mid age — the weather sucks and the glitz doesnt appeal to me any more …

Perhaps when you get going on building up, I just may be there with you (taking our 3 unit building and doing something killer with it). I proposed sub-dividing it and going up by adding affordable units to the Big Bro and he liked the idea of penthouse suites for his weekend visits.

My dad’s quote of all time: don’t compare yourself to the worst or else you will never improve.

Who needs Chinese food when you are living in America??? Many options! I think I’ll go for a Greek dinner Friday night and Vegan Sat night to detox my body…

I have been taking my parents to the doctor’s in Chinatown about once a week nowadays. CAN’T STAND IT!!! That wet smelly mess on Stockton St is what Hong Kong looked like back in the 50s I imagined. Chinatown is stuck in time. OTOH they do have some mean chicken that taste like chicken. I am sure @dioworld would approve.

I am still of the opinion Chinatown restaurants suck.

For the Central Subway project, I like the prospect on the other end of the T-line. Upper Bayview, aka Dogpatch 2.0, will see a lot of appreciation come 2019.

Nice, huh???

We thumb our noses at the developers and frankly non Asians!!! We own this neighborhood and you can’t have it!!!

Doctors in Chinatown are notorious for their unscrupulousness. I hope the ones your parents go to are more decent.

Agreed. If I have to eat in Chinatown the only place I’d go to is VIP Cafe. The food there is a bit more edible.

I think you gave Hong Kong way too much credit. Remember most people live in bird cages there, even the well off ones…

No flat for you.

Yah! I think it’s very hard to take an apartment in Hong Kong and become a big problem for the tourists.
