The backlash is that people admire dictators like Trump that vow to cut through all the BS red tape. They don’t even care if he is a liar cheat and a fraud. They just want to hear that a wall can be built… even though it never was…

BOTH parties (the current state) are just too extreme. If someone came up with a Moderate Party (hey, call it for what it is and should be) I would be game.

$1.8m toilets. 627 days to get one house approved required 37 different permits. The City of San Francisco makes its own shitshow of incompetence and yet blames techies, developers and greedy landlords for all its housing woes.
