Kamala Harris never took a stand on anything in the primaries and tried to play both sides, that’s why she lost, extremely arrogant. Of course after she was thrashed by Tulsi Gabbard in the debates she had to leave the primaries.I have already posted her other deeds in a post on this thread.

Most of Kamala’s family(except one) on her mother’s side didn’t want to be interviewed(when contacted by latimes) to talk about her, says more about her than the family. Kamala has claimed that her grandfather was a freedom fighter against the British in India, while the rest of the family flatly denied this and also clarified that if that had actually happened the grandpa would have been fired from his job with the British.

This is what Kamala’s father said about her.

“My dear departed grandmothers (whose extraordinary legacy I described in a recent essay on this website), as well as my deceased parents, must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics,” he wrote.

“Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty,” he added.

Sounds like he didn’t like his daughter’s pandering very much. In fact, it sounds like he doesn’t like her very much.

Anyways, any one claiming holier than thou(compared to BIGLY) are unfamiliar with the backgrounds of their favorite party candidates.

And whatever happened to that massive wall that Bigmac was going to build and make Mexico pay for? Campaign promises…take them with a grain of salt, regardless of party. She is just playing to the left enough to make sure they show up in November.

To me this is more about character and balance of power than policy. As a moderate I strongly prefer that neither party controls both the executive and legislative branches so that radical policies from either side don’t move forward.

Dems. Their agenda - from green energy to reversing Trump’s tax code changes - feeds money from the poor to the rich with a firehose. Their hyper-regulation stance slows growth to a crawl forcing the Fed to print more money. Bad for those whose wealth is in money; good for those whose wealth is in equities and real estate. You just need to overcome the queasiness that comes from knowing you’re getting rich off the misery of others.

No need to overthink this. Polls show how the majority of Americans look at the two sides. Voters think Trump/Pence is more extreme than Biden/Harris.

Prior to CV he had cut the rate of growth of the national debt in half. In any event if the Dems get in and actually do what they say they will we will look back on 2020 numbers like they were nothing.

Inflation comes about when economy expands. Disinflation or even deflation means economy is in deep trouble. Key is mild and not runaway inflation like the 70s.

People keep fighting old wars. Inflation has long ceased to be the danger. Even after rounds upon rounds of QE inflation refused to go up.

Economy expands mean, good and services are produced more.

Inflation can also come by money printing. FED prints money means, cash is added to economy with same or reduced goods and services.

Assuming goods and services (reduced by GDP contraction) = 37T (assume old money circulation) + FED printing (yearly).

This means asset (real estate) value increases by the amount of FED money printing. It may not reflect immediately, but will reflect at a later point of time.

I know Democrats hate Trump. But hardcore California type Democrats are one third of the electorate.

Meanwhile Trump stood up to China, has curbed illegal immigration both of which have driven up low income wages. Stocks are at ATHs and the economy is booming despite the worst pandemic in 100 years.

We all agree that Trump is an inarticulate asshole.
But most Americans are better off.

Especially low income workers. They don’t have to compete with illegals. Laborers are making $30/hr
Not $10 like during Obama’s reign.
There now is a plumber in SLT that is charging $250/hr. In 2015 plumbers charged $90/hr. They are raising prices weekly.

My apartments have doubled in value in 4 years.
There is an extreme labor shortage in Tahoe. Prices are skyrocketing.

Anyway Presidents don’t loose in a boom.
The ten percent unemployed are often getting more in unemployment insurance than when working.

Trump is going to win even though 60% of Americans despise him.
The Democrats have such a stupid agenda that only their hardcore will show up to vote.

Not to even mention the biggest cut in regulations in over 30 years and civil rights restored to 70,000 Americans stripped of them by Obama. Plus withdrawal from the disastrous Paris Accord - we can see the results of going down that path in CA right now with massive power outages just when power is needed to most. And although the media is downplaying it his administration just negotiated a historic Middle East Peace deal. On that note he’s withdrawing troops from Syria - which was never our business - and he hasn’t started any new conflicts. He’s also getting troops out of Europe - it’s about time 75 years after the end of WW II and 25 years after the breakup of the Soviet Union. Let them build their own war machine if they’re that afraid of Russia which has a GDP one twelfth that of the EU. His judicial appointments are starting to be felt as well - the 9th circuit is no longer the 9th circus. It just goes on and on…and now his opposition has become the party of chaos and destruction.
Oh - I forgot ISIS all but destroyed, an AG who doesn’t go around triggering race riots and police assassinations with false accusations of police brutality and lands seized by the Feds given back to the states.

You left the important corp tax, personal tax

Biden would raise the corporate tax rate from 21 to 28 percent, set minimum corporate taxes for domestic and foreign income, restore the top individual tax rate from 37 to 39.6 percent, tax capital gains as ordinary income and at death for very high earners, limit various tax breaks for higher earners, subject wages above $400,000 to the Social Security payroll tax, and pass various other cuts and increases.
