True, true, that is why I apologized to the great master @hanera for irritating him. :pray:t2::joy:

So, what should we do?

I am at 60% cash. So will not sell anymore shares. Plan to long SPXU at the peak of the counter-trend, Panda’s chart indicates a counter-trend next week. Counter-trend is up trend in this case.

Btw, I think indices are unlikely to go into a bear market because FANGMANT are cash rich and very well run. Many growth stocks are already in bear market since Feb, many would join.

.

No counter-trend? And Panda conveniently made a change in count and said is this count all along???

Btw, SPX has to drop below 4269 to be in correction territory. Now is still in consolidation territory. However, hyper growth stocks are mostly in bear market.

Panda and few other finwits gave me clues to sell. Forgot to exit out of my option puts
argg i hope my 70% gain doesn’t disappear overnight.

Puppy vs Panda

Take note wave 2 can decline as low as 428 :man_shrugging:

Boy oh boy. Everybody talk so confidently, one would think their return is much better than S&P index.

My conclusion so far is if no sophisticated hedging is used, nobody has a portfolio that can beat S&P return over 10+ years. That is, unless you’re lucky to stumble all-into FANGMANT early, you are better off investing in S&P index and learn how to hedge.

However, if you like fun, stock picking is fun, just view the lower return as expenses to have fun.

Definition of crash:

At least a drop of 10% within 3 days; or
A drop of 30% within a month.

Hence many hyper growth stocks have crashed yesterday.

Definition of correction: 10-20% price decline from recent ATH.

Please note that on average S&P experiences one correction almost every year. So far, there is no correction, perhaps, this is it. Instead of Santa Claus rally, we have a correction.

Panda has to admit wrong after boldly declare is the start of a bear market.

Panda bull count  SPX over 5000 :money_mouth_face:

@hanera still at 60% cash?

40% BTFD RBLX U MTTR All three looks like in wave 3 or iii. Have been doing so since Monday.

Panic when COIN drops so low so didn’t BTFD
watching, may buy after CPI. COIN is still seen as a crypto stock and with creator of BTC/ block chain tech in the cloud
 problem
creator of BTC can pull a rug and destroy whatever that built upon it. He can also dump his entire stake. Not good.

COST :+1:

Pretty hard to beat the return of FANGMANT and is likely to be true in the future.

Note: Yahoo!Finance algo screw up, didn’t adjust for splits for NVDA. Is a new algo, previously it did. It means Yahoo! is going down fast.

i don’t agree with any of these other than COST.

also, he has SE as a sell. yes, its not great but I am long term bullish - i think SE Asia and LatAM are going to be growth areas and think I would double down on these if they get cheap enough.

That’s why those 95% of the folks are not in the 1%. Simple math (and logic).

Why not just buy XLK+XLC, or QQQ?

Up to you  He didn’t say which index fund he owned. I think we have similar approach, DCA purchase of an index fund (I have chosen S&P index fund) + rock solid blue chips (I own one instead of a basket).
