I just traded a car on a new one…I knew the dealer was getting an extra 20% profit …an extra $2000 bucks on the trade in…But selling a Prius in Tahoe is tough. Didn’t want to have to take it to the BA…will people be willing to give a discount to dump their trade in house???
You would think not or it would simply be hard to “plan” essentially what I am trying to do, both sides of an exchange really. Most sellers are easily able to sell without contingencies. Again, perhaps this type of program can work in less than uber hot areas.

Agree. There definitely is a market for this type of service in smaller cities/towns that aren’t as hot and DOM is > 60. I have in the past observed road-side ads saying something like “we pay cash for homes, call xxx”. Aren’t those essentially the same thing? Or are those largely scams?
I called up a cash for house guy. These are franchises that get financing and technical support from a central source. They throw out a large net hoping to get a weak sister to give away their house. They get a few a year, fix and flip. There just hoping to steal your house. Looking for desperate people in a weak moment.
