I told you! They just looked at the list price and put some small adjustment to make it look legit. And after the sale price is posted Redfin will cheat again and move their estimate very close to the final price.

On the other hand, Zillow does their homework, and get sued for it. 
I’m much more lenient for these regression models. But when an appraiser estimates the house value after making the offer, and comes up with precisely the offer amount, that really gets me.

Zillow deserves what they get…A mafia style protection racket…makes money by shaking down realtors and giving out phoney estimates
I couldn’t agree more. I think the job of a professional appraiser is redundant and needs to be disrupted!
