Metaverse aka Omniverse, Mixed Reality, The Matrix

Thought metaverse is still off the radar, is so hot already, no wonder no good deal. Normally, new tech is white hot for 3-6 months, then cool down, baking, baking, baking, then start to climb again after 9-12 months.

Talk so much, what stocks to invest?

FSLY NVDA RBLX FB ADSK SHOP META

Of above, I don’t have ADSK and META. Wonder why didn’t recommend U?

Without bias? Gender neutral, ethnicity neutral, physical appearance neutral, mannerism neutral, …

Here’s what we know:

  1. It’s still the early days for the Metaverse.
  2. Early days mean high risk.
  3. High risk can mean high reward.

@erth

Issues raise in the above video is why it is critical that RJ Pittman got what it takes to grow MTTR into a metaverse juggernaut.

Huh? Kill ZM, then kill WORK, then kill CRM? ZM is not netscape.

My only worry with zoom is that it is a commodity. There are too many video conferencing tools to go around. What is its differentiation?

Just like FB in the early days and GOOG in the early days, EXECUTION. What do you think of Eric Yuan? Sufficiently competent? Just to remind you, he is a Chinese (worse China-born) not a Jew like Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, Sergei Brin, Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Bill Gates and Alex Karp. The hurdle is high. My biggest worry is are there any Jews in the management team. I am not familiar with Jewish names. Is hard to be successful and sustainable in the long term without any Jews. Remember, I believe in people, people, people.

Your point taken. People are key and execution makes big difference. To spin your dictum: people, people, people. I think it is more like : connections, connections, connections. Or relations, relations, relations. In the zoom team, I see mix of Chinese, Indians, Italian, and at least one Jew.

Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Peter Thiel are not Jewish.

I don’t like where this conversation is heading.

What do you not like about it?

If you have to ask

Should you not be asked if you feel/tell it is something not to be liked? Now I am more curious.

Unity blowing up today. I wonder where the short term peak is?

As per EW posted 2 days ago… no change in picture.

If short term means a few days, I don’t know. If a few weeks, should be at least to $155, I am expecting above $177… I may sell some around there, otherwise, just hodl

Thanks. Debating whether to trade a little bit and play the volatility or stick with the long-term thesis on $U. Still think it has a bright future.

Regrettably didn’t long any calls :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: Sometimes, I can’t figure out what my mind is thinking. After typing this, I recall I did want to long calls, somehow forgot.

The swoop pissed me off, so I loaded up 50% more than what I want, planning to get rid of the 50% overload around $177.

I expect 5x to 10x over 5 years but I need to find out more about the CEO. My first impression of him in a video is not that great. Is all about execution, so is all about the CEO. I am worry that some startups or big boys may out maneuvered him if he is not careful.

The CEO ran Electronic Arts. Did pretty well there. He’s a strategic dealmaker that will try to optimize for Wall Street valuation.

No change in assessment. Just an update to the progress of the EW waves. Should be in wave i.(5) and I don’t have an accurate price targets, should be between $26 to $38, yes, very broad, play by ear

Josh loading up on Matterport.
