MSFT acquired GitHub for $7.5B in stock

No, manch. I’m too old, can’t take the stress.

Well, he invests high growth stocks. Not much less risky than Tesla.

High growth is volatile. With margin, a few folds more. Can’t take it
Guess he is young and is able to sail a sampan in a rocky sea during a stormy night.

The recent Facebook bomb actually makes it easier. It gives me some clarity what to do. Just bet the fucking farm on FB!

Thinking about what should I do with NFLX.

May I know how much that is?

From memory, NFLX is a highly volatile stock. It started rallying in mid 2016 and went parabolic in 2018. Expect fairly deep decline… could be back to the start of the parabolic rise i.e. $200. I didn’t add to my tiny purchase bought for $229.

Should be in a trading range for at least 6 months, plenty of time to accumulate  I’ll buy only if below my purchase price of $168.

For his net worth, anything less than $500k is not betting on a farm.

My conviction level for FB is far greater than NFLX. To me FB is obviously undervalued but I can’t say the same for NFLX. So for now I will just let it sit with the rest of the fellas. FB gets my special treatment.

What’s FB’s trading range according to you?

Geez, you need to learn how to 过目不忘 from Harriet, the goddess.

Huh. What happened to the hideous grandma with a tiny brain :unamused:

Please estimate both numbers for us, based on your personal observation.

No need to estimate, he mentioned it before, I can’t remember the number, ask 观音

So you are saying between 170 and 195 for the rest of 2018?

Why aren’t your buying symmetric? Why won’t you buy if it breaks thru 195?

I can be much more forgiving than goddess though. I simply forgot what wrong people did to me.

I also have the very useful capability of forgetting promises I made, especially to women.

Only a momentum trader does that. I’m not a breakout momentum trader. Intend to buy n hold.

What’s so snobby about that? I never learned it from school. I think they teach it in high school in HK. I can guess on some words though.

May I remind you some Chinese cultural norms in case you stayed in America for too long:

When someone claim they can’t read simplified, they are either a snobbish HKer or Taiwanese.
When they can’t read traditional, they have an inferiority complex going on.
