New build south bay

I am interested in buying an older home and demolishing and building a new home from scratch.

Let’s say I have found a house/lot that I am interested in and Pre-approved. Trying to find some guidance on how does one start the process and what steps are involved. Do builders offer turnkey service? Are there any online resources to read on this process?

Prices for lumberhave just doubled. Skilled labor is a least $50/hr
Basically building costs are going through the roof everywhere.
Buy existing… no way you can build cheaper than existing house in your neighborhood
