I looked at SPLK and NOW. They are both very expensive. In SPLK’s case how come a 14 year old company still loses money? EV/Rev is more than 11. A bit too rich for me.

Two types of losing money,

1. Real kind - avoid
2. Engineered - buy if fundamentals are ok e.g. AMZN and SPLK

The criticism of SPLK has been that it is diluting the stocks with too much stock compensation.
