Number 4 Democrat defeated by a small party

An unknown Latino activist from an unknown party defeated the #4 democrat in New York. Is this a win of Bernie over Hillary?

Both Bernie and Trump are extremely happy about this result.

Will Democrat stage a war against Bernie and the progressive grassroots?

I saw the district is almost 50% Hispanic, so it seems they voted for the person of their race.

If that was the reason, then why has there been no haspanic candidate for 15 years? Actually no contest at all from any candidate.

Republicans could hadnpick a Hispanic candidate and took down Crowley easily

I’m not sure.

What does this sound like? Aaah! Gavin Newsom  i.e. for the whole state of CA unlike NY where it’s just for a district.

  1. Medicare For All
  2. Housing As a Human Right
  3. A Federal Jobs Guarantee
  4. Immigration Justice / Abolish ICE
  5. Higher Education for All

What does “A Federal Jobs Guarantee” mean? Does it mean that everyone can be guaranteed a federal government job? Or will the federal government guarantee everyone a job?

I’m not sure whether Pelosi would want Ms Ocasio-Cortez-Cortez to represent the Democratic Party.

A Boston University graduate who only worked restaurant jobs. Bernie is proud of her.

Let me know after you research

This is the “Federal Jobs Guarantee” from Ms Cortez.

Alexandria endorses a Federal Jobs Guarantee, because anyone who is willing and able to work shouldn’t struggle to find employment.

A Federal Jobs Guarantee would create a baseline quality for employments that guarantees a minimum $15 wage (pegged to inflation), full healthcare, and paid child and sick leave for all. This proposal would dramatically upgrade the quality of employment in the United States, by providing training and experience to workers while bringing much-needed public services to our communities in areas such as parks service, childcare and environmental conservation.

Furthermore, a federal jobs guarantee program would establish a floor for wages and benefits for the nation’s workforce. This program would provide a baseline minimum wage of $15 an hour and guarantee for public workers a basic benefits package, including healthcare and childcare. By investing in our own workforce, we can lift thousands of American families out of poverty.

Minimum wage should be $15-25/hour, because how can restaurant workers pay for housing otherwise.

South American Economic ideas which didn’t work in their countries now invading North America to provide the prosperity(to North America) which they escaped from.(SARCASM)

She only won primary. Will she win the midterm election finally? Will she compete against a republican candidate?

I read somewhere it’s a heavily Democrat leaning district.

Bernie Sanders utopia which worked so great in those countries(AGAIN Sarcasm)

These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger. Who’s the banana republic now?

Bernie Sanders should run for the president in Argentina or Venezuela

He should have bought his $600K vacation home in Venezuela.

He will be dead soon enough like all the other Democrat dinosaurs.

I wonder the same thing in CA–no one else bothers to run on many tickets.

These idiots never say how they are going to pay for everything. They always forget to mention the middle class pay 30-40% income tax, another 10% local income tax, plus another 15%+ VAT. People compare it to US tax rates where effective rates are half of the actual rates. Over 40% of the US isn’t even paying income tax. Who’s going to tell those people they need to start paying 40%? People in those socialist countries don’t get tax deductions, so they pay the actual rates you see.
