I bet the response is to hand out more tents and needles for free.

If our leaders are semi-smart, which I think they are at least, they have been trying to clean up the streets but it sounds like we need more. At the end of the day, even the most Left of the Left has to understand that no visitors, no money. Period.

Whatever happened to cops walking their beats??? I want to see pairs or single cops walking the streets EVERYWHERE!!! Especially, in the downtown, conventioneer areas of Moscone Center and Union Square. When I was back in NY and visiting Times Square, cops were everywhere. I felt safe there at 2 in the morning. Here, fuuuugetboutit…

Love and peace.
Let’s abolish moscone center and use it to house the homeless. drug addicts , let’s provide them with luxury gym/swimming pools, michelin restaurants meals for free. Let’s do it.

At least you don’t have a city council member that’s this stupid:

“Earlier this year, a King County inquest jury found that the officers believed Taylor, 46, posed a threat of death or serious injury when Miller and Spaulding shot him on Feb. 21, 2016, while trying to arrest him as a felon in unlawful possession of a firearm.”

I suppose she thinks the cops should have waited for the felon to shoot and kill them before responding? There’s a reason I bought outside of Seattle.

She was a former software engineer, used to have a software engineer husband. Her current husband is a fellow Seattle Socialist Alternative organizer.

Sawant was born to Vasundhara and H. T. Ramanujam in Pune, India, in a Hindu middle-class family. Her mother is a retired principal and her father, who was a civil engineer, was killed by a drunk driver when Sawant was 13.[7] Sawant’s observations of poverty in her native country and her unhappiness with the Indian caste system helped shape her political views before her adoption of socialism. Sawant grew up in Mumbai where she later studied computer science and graduated with a B.Sc from the University of Mumbai in 1994. She married her husband Vivek, an engineer at Microsoft, and moved to the United States. Sawant’s husband filed for and obtained a legal divorce in 2014.[8] **She remarried in August 2016 to Calvin Priest, a fellow Seattle Socialist Alternative organizer.[**9]

Makes sense, a software engineer does not match well with a socialist…

Geez, why would you go lower on your next pick???:grinning:
