The in color is greige. Anyone have the interior of their houses painted greige such as Colonnade Gray from Sherwin-Williams. What color did you use for ceiling/ trim/ baseboard/ doors? Same color? I am thinking of White Dove from Benjamin Moore for all four categories. Good?
While on this subject, does anyone know a good exterior house painter on the Peninsula? What does it run? I think we are due…
Wait for the recession. Painting is too expensive right now.
Price depends on house size and number of stories. Also wood windows are a huge premium. I painted a house myself two years ago with a little help. $1000 for the exterior including paint. Had a bid on a bit bigger house for $16k. Needed lots of prep.
Have the bidder break out the paint, labor and prep. But 15gal of paint should cost less than $500.
I like Home Depot paint. The Behr premium is only $120/5gals
