Does anyone think this will actually make a difference? There’s already how many private sources for the same data? It seems like an excuse for politicians to claim they did something while the impact will be zero.
It’s already implemented in Colorado and levels.fyi doesn’t show accurate pay. May be FAANG salary might be close but not all. HR in any company are there to lowball all the time. I think payscale transparency will be good for non FAANG.
HR will always lowball. That’s their performance review I would assume.
