I’m looking for a flooring contractor in the Bay Area who is going to do a good job of soundproofing a condo hardwood floor.
Any tips for such a project, or recommendations for such a contractor would be most appreciated!

Re-upping this to see if anyone has any recommendations for contractors who can replace a hardwood floor in San Francisco with soundproof floroing
We had a bad experience with a flooring contractor (Albini) and we’d love to get a referral to a contractor someone was actually happy with.
@ajca I have had good experience with Daniil from Elephant Floors for replacing my hardwood floors. Not sure if they serve San Francisco though or specialize in soundproof flooring.
Other than using a high-density thick layer of padding, I am not sure what other soundproofing you can do in this situation. If you care about soundproofing that much then carpet is a better choice.
For condo remodels the thick padding is the standard issue for hardwood floors.
