Same look or concealable in walls? More expensive? Developer willing to sacrifice this one unit by doing it this way? Maybe this unit is not ideal (in another way) so it made financial sense to do it this way? I mean, why would a developer intentionally add or leave a wart in a unit if it is a prime one (one with views, etc) if the cost of doing it right made sense?

Like I said these were just open lofts. The tenants just did a crappy build out. But moment frame construction costs more and allows greater flexibility in layouts.

They are seismic struts. Columns are vertical beams are horizontal. These are just stupid cheap seismic bracing struts from very bad architecture

nowdays journalist/reporter very easy to do. just copy and paste, manipulate some numbers to how they like you to believe or make it up so can make it controversial . In hong kong, appledaily news, all these reporter do is stare at two big forum and copy and paste the stuff in there and make it their news every single day
