I happened to see this home for my friend who was ready to offer around 1.6M level, but lost it. Final bid price is 300k over the list price.
I really like that area, but the schools suck. Paying $1.8M for that area seems crazy.
That is what current bay area real estate status in 2017 !
I am hearing easy 250k to 300k overbid at some unknown - non school district - areas.
Current Bay Area craziness surpassed year 2007 crazy !
