Not sure if you all caught the news stories on this. Confirmation that the Milennium Tower is indeed sinking, even faster than was thought. But news to me: also sinking are “buildings along the earthquake-prone Hayward Fault.” So how does that affect those of us considering buying in East Oakland or the Oakland Hills? I’ve been trying to look for more detailed info but haven’t found anything specific yet.
Buy in the hills, not on alluvial soils in the flats…
Of course, I get pinged the moment any developments happen with this POS building that is literally a half block away from where I type on most days of the week.
