Many small footprint restaurants are doing extremely well. They use SQ and restaurant software (e.g. TOST, OLO, LSPD) for their operations and is capable of ominchannel retail.
I sold Beyond Meat more than a year ago. I like Impossible Meat much more. Try it.
I’m beyond meat fan more.
I am beyond meat into fresh vegetables and fruits.
People will realize that processed food is just bad. Better to stick with fresh vegetables, and fruits and avoid these synthetic crap.
How about Peleton? Down a lot.
Still own Peloton. I like companies that have become a word for a whole category. Nobody says exercise bikes anymore. They all say Peloton. It’s like nobody says search, they all say Google.
Too easy to knock off. Secret sauce?… nah
Beth owns PTON? News to me.
Peloton is more than a bike or a treadmill. It’s content subscription business masquerading as hardware.
I made my own PTON. Treadmill + iPad + Fitness+.
No kidding. Shop the produce dept and the fresh meats and fish dept. Unprocessed stuff like oatmeal or beans is fine but treat the canned and frozen food isles like bad neighborhoods. Same goes for most of the Deli. If everyone did that it would likely take us less than 4 years to save as many lives as we’ve lost to COVID. Fats, hydrogenated oils, little or no fiber and a BOATLOAD of salt - that’s what you get from processed food. Complications from Type II diabetes is 80,000 a year right there. Throw in hypertension and all the cancers and it adds up fast.
agreed. I flirt with being mostly vegetarian and sometimes vegan and I like meat. and I won’t go near the beyond or impossible crap.
now, lab grown meat…I may be able to get behind. since it is the real thing, just propagated in a lab from animal proteins in milk/eggs. still not sure though.
The most organic food you can buy is grass feed beef. Most vegan foods have pesticides and use more water. The vegan movement is full of lies and distortions. Almond milk is the biggest lie is all. Almonds use more water than beef. And more pesticides. Free water subsidized by taxpayers. There is a Vietnamese restaurant in Oakland that serves fake meat. Why cover up vegan options?
