Why would the tenant let the landlord know that they sublease the space for Airbnb and share their profit? Seems counterintuitive.
I wouldn’t want to allow tenants subleasing thru airbnb either, but aren’t landlords ultimately liable anyway?
They normally wouldn’t but you know it is happening in some instances behind the owners’ wishes. I guess with new leases this way it is all out in the open and no one needs to hide what they are doing and the owners get some additional rent income. I wouldn’t do it or allow it but some people might.
