First mover advantage is about getting large gross margins. Tesla has already said to expect 14% gross margin. That means they aren’t getting a premium for innovation. Go look at companies with 14% gross margin and tell me how many you’d invest in.

Already explained why I am still here in some other posts so not going to repeat myself again. Also, just because I believe in the RE here doesn’t mean I think it’s world class or desirable for myself. There are people who make investments in flyover states but live in coastal cities, so does that mean they prefer to live in the heartland? Prime example - look at Financial Samurai. Besides, there are plenty of cheerleaders like you and @sfdragonboy so there will not be a shortage of demand here.

If the gross margin is low when your first, what’s gross margin going to be when there’s more competitors? Seriously, do you own any other stock in a company that has a 14% gross margin?
I don’t look at gross margins when owning stocks. It’s not an important factor.

All I can say is, if 2+2 is 8 to you…then how am I supposed to trust that you can handle differential equations?
I was good with those once upon a time… I got A+'s in both Math 1A and 1B at UC Berkeley!!!

Really? That didn’t prevent Arnold from sleeping with his maid… is he not good or does his maid have good skills/attributes? 
I lost interest after 50A (which I also got an A+) and only got a B+ in 50B. It just went downhill from there in terms of my math expertise…
