I don’t believe in the environmental nazis religion of “do you believe in global warming?”
But some beach lovers might want the security of having a beach that won’t be affected by oceans rising. Besides clear salt free Tahoe water is the best to swim in. Much warmer than the BA beaches

The rebate was raised this year, I believe.
We only got $500 last year. 
Actually Tahoe needs to worry about climate change too.
“That’s a long-term trend we’re seeing, rising air and water temperatures here at Lake Tahoe,” said Tom Lotshaw with the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. “As the lake warms, it will become a more hospitable place for algae growth, for aquatic invasive species to spread, particularly in the near shore areas."
Schladow said his studies show that air temperatures in the Tahoe Basin are also on the rise.
“Snow, as we know it, in the Tahoe Basin is going to be far less prevalent in coming decades,” he said.
Many scientists project California will see less snow in the winter and more severe fires in the Tahoe basin.

True, last year someone told me $500. I just noticed it in PG&E website about $800.
I am more worried about the lack science at Davis than climate change. Tahoe will be fine. Although many of us would like to have our own state.
As far as snow we have too much, just like in 2017. Old timers say it is the way it always was. Bull shit. Even in the 1960 Olympics the snow didn’t arrive till February. Just in time. Humans always whine about the weather. Of course now we are more grandiose. Now we whine about climate change and Chemtrails( a place where the radicals of the left and right meet)

By 2023, almost 70% of new cars GM rolls out with EV cars.
This lady intentionally avoided standard routes that had superchargers to use other slower chargers, and could have just followed Tesla’s routemapping instead.
