No one can break Tesla, either cost wise or quality wise. Any new company, whoever makes it, is behind Tesla at least 10 years.

Lol Porsche is producing way less than what they stated their goal was. Notice the article doesn’t tell you how many they have produced. Maybe this hiring will bring them to their claimed production rate.

The Porsche accelerates faster at largely irrelevant speeds (>100 mph) because of a 2 speed transmission. Also costs like $80k more

Tesla dont compete with Porche Price. Even Audi E tron and MB EQC more expensive than most Teslas…
Most of Tesla sales are in $50K price bracket Model 3/Model Y. and no one knows actual sales.
you can extend this logic to aviation. where EU airbus can delay a customer orders as Airbus has other customers line up. whie Boeing has less orders near term so trying to squeeze that last penny.
in manufacturing EU has totally won the game.

Cars are all about fashion. Plenty of sexy hot cars. Way more than the demand.
My buddy is selling his 2014 Nissan GTR for $63k. I was in it a couple of years ago. We went from 75-150 in 2 seconds. Unbelievable. 540 hp and reasonable mileage. He is getting old and would rather have a RV.
I don’t see the need for electric cars unless your local politicians listen to Greta. Otherwise there is little demand for performance sedans.
Most of us are happy with trucks and SUVs.
You won’t land dates with supermodels under age 30 if you drive a gas car. You may not listen to Greta but they do.
