Except their batteries are using less and less cobalt, headed toward zero…
That is not unique to Tesla. Tesla costs will rise and sales will decline. at some point it has to show real profits.

EVs have charging problem and recycling of battery issues. I believe is why Apple is hesitating. Elon Musk doesn’t care… get the cash in FIRST… figure out later. Elon is confident with himself able to explain to his loyal hard-core fans like @wuqijun and @Zeapelido who will believe whatever he said and whatever reasoning he gave. TC is not as eloquent and flamboyant as Elon, prefer to be slow and steady. We’ll see who approach is better. The night is young.
The correct takeaway from watching that video is buying ChargePoint stock.

I didn’t read watch the video, was deducing what you have in mind 
obviously I was wrong.
Current construction patterns US will at most have 1.5m production capacity for Electric vehicles untill 2030 and that only if Panasonic survives that long. same with Koreans who are supplying to GM/Ford.
VW favor Chinese tech.
Aapl is my number 2 position with about $4 million value on paper.
Last post is he said that he can leave us to do something. He didn’t say what kind of private matters he needs to do.
