Tesla cars are so boring now. It’s like a work uniform. Literally millions of people driving the same thing. The “wow” factor is long gone.

Rumor has it that LCID and BYD are actively courting a certain software platform company as partner.
Betting on TSLA and RIVN is betting on all people like bald.

Rivian is now the world’s 3rd largest car manufacturer by market cap. Need to overtake that shitty Toyota.
Lucid is not far behind GM.
Toyota produces the best cars in the world Tesla barely produces any cars, about 5% of Toyota and 1% of the total 50m market. Rivian produces no cars.
Lesson… the car business is not a good profit center. But meme stock hype is… WTF?

Puru is not happy that he keeps missing the EV boats especially when his fintechs are brought to the slaughter house.

Millennials and those slightly older are tired of the Boomers’ way. They want to demolish the old system of banking & finance, and transportations. Hence Fintechs and EVs are celebrated. Is not about P&L, is about helping to construct the future.

EV is the future and stock market is looking at the future. Toyota is the most efficient among the ICE dinosaurs and they are the king of hybrid. Probably why it hasn’t been brought to the slaughterhouse yet. But it has been dragging its feet on EV and keeps playing around with dead end technologies like hydrogen. Their hands are also tied by their suppliers. Tons of firms large and small in Japan got their entire books of business from Toyota. Obviously they don’t want Toyota to move to EV.
Conclusion: Toyota is doomed.
Apparently Puru didn’t learn anything from his Tesla experience. Yelling at the sky won’t help him.
