Tesla’s trillion dollar valuation is fast approaching

Actually wasn’t bad. Not below $1000.

Broke through $1000 :scream:

Below $1000? Wait to buy at 200-day SMA but be careful because Elon Musk said he wanted to quit (to protect his reputation and indecent gain). He is copying Jeff Bezos who copy Bill Gates. Michael Dell and Jerry Yang tried the same trick but forced to come back and have their names sticked to the downfall of the companies they found.

Mercedes a 100 year old car company must be finally feeling good after doing better than a 10 year old car company.

Competition is good for consumers.

Essentially mean honeymoon is over for TSLA and TSLA investors. Have to work hard for their monies.

Of all the people here envious of Tesla’s success, @manch takes first place. But you are a close second.

It’s still not too late to buy people. Rather than sitting on the sideline spitting venom at Tesla (which is not good for both your wealth and your health), why not load up the truck with TSLA shares and quit imagining the likes of Rivian or iCar could change your fortune.

.

I have long decided not interested in buying TSLA because of Elon Musk’s personality and not because of not believing in TSLA. YMMY. Actually, I think it is highly possible that TSLA could overtake AAPL in market cap, so long Elon Musk is still running the show. Elon makes fairly tech and business decisions, and can navigation politics.

Posted early this year.

Notice have always been critical of Elon’s personality.

Didn’t doubt he is a genius.

I think your misdirected feelings of Elon’s personality and misunderstanding of his work and vision clouded your judgment of him and Tesla. Elon genuinely cares about the future of humanity. He will make a lot more of an impact to humanity (in a very positive way) than Tim Cook ever will.

Noble causes aside, if you are just purely interested in money, then Tsla also fits the bill. Why not invest in something that is both noble and profitable. Win win.

I need a lot more proof that he is of good personality. I didn’t meet him in person, so have to base on what I read.

If he really did, instead of asking UN for world hunger strategy he would have used his genius brain to find solution instead of using it for Tesla or traveling to mars. Genius ppl don’t just stop with offering .01% or whatever % of their wealth to solve problem. He made a great product and a visionary but saying caring about humanity is a stretch.

Is that what happened?

Here’s the twitter thread:
https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1454808104256737289

In short:

  • Somebody made a claim 2% of Musk’s wealth can solve world hunger.

  • Musk “challenged” back(rhetorically- i.e. he knew that this 2% claim is false), he would donate the money if this was true.

  • UN/someone_at_UN later changed it’s criterion on they claimed, blah blah.

The bigger question it seems from your post is what is caring about humanity? Did Mother Teresa care about humanity or Bill Gates(pre retirement/when he was Msft head). My view is Bill Gates was more effective in lifting people and making them more productive when he was MSFT head, because his cheap computing PC+internet changed the world. Just because Elon Musk isn’t going and feeding poor people doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about humanity. He is helping humanity in other ways. Which other company took on EVs seriously 10 years earlier? Every other ICE car company laughed at him. Aren’t EVs going to eliminate Climate change and save the environment/world/humanity according the Biden in 2021? Although unionized EVs only

Let me ask you a question. Have you read about Adam Smith’s “Invisible hand”? My guess is you should have, but many comments here on this forum makes me speculate many haven’t.
