Tesla’s trillion dollar valuation is fast approaching

Didn’t follow him that closely, need to verify.

Go ahead. Why would he badmouth Tsla to $140 if he were still holding $5 million of it long? Does that sound reasonable to you?

As of May 11, still holding the core.

Exactly. He sold it now and went against everything he had said before. That’s why I think he is full of crap.

I take it to mean still holding the core.

I took that to mean he closed his position and banked everything in cash. He is now waiting for it to dip to $140 so he can re-enter.

If that wasn’t the case then he is a lunatic because it makes no sense.

I heard somebody said he sold everything because in Singapore there is no need to pay tax on that profit. So he really is going to score nicely if this plan works out. Is that true? I don’t know the tax situation with Singapore.

No capital gain tax.

Trading price lower than my avg purchase :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

This has to be the bottom or very close to it. I can’t imagine it falling any further…

Tesla Down 50% from ATH. Back to 6/21 valuation. Growth stocks are being slaughtered by the FED … deliberately. RE is next… but the inherent stickiness and fact that inventory is only turned over 1% a year means most owners will be saved too much pain . Except sellers that have bought in the last 2 years and have to sell.

I have to rate @Jil and chicken genius better than Kevin Praffath, Ross Gerger and Dave Lee (toxic bulls according to CG) in stock analysis.

Bears always look like geniuses at the market bottom. Let’s see if CG can catch the exact bottom with his $5 million in cash. If Tsla spikes back up before $140 is reached (very high likelihood), he will miss it. By then you can call him Chicken Idiot instead or maybe people will just forget or ignore the loser.

@hanera, I am not expert of any individual stocks as I do not do any valuation more than one year. When you asked about TSLA, I accidentally looked at the way market is pricing TSLA and skeptical for next 3-5 years even though TSLA can survive 20 to 100 years like Ford or GM.

Since I knew about TSLA background, I was able to judge the issue, but it is accidental. Do not rely on such updates/information.

It is not about bears, it is about TSLA’s revenue and income numbers (that depends on dispatches/sales).

See here, WFC down grades, but such issues will come when less than expected dispatches/sales are happening (everything after the fact) https://www.cnbc.com/2022/10/14/wells-fargo-cuts-tesla-price-target-cites-rising-interest-rates.html

Any way, TSLA is beyond my view now as I made some profit through TSLA yesterday. I bought call when it dipped in the morning and sold it in the evening ! That is it for me, pure trading !!

BTW: I am not expert of any individual stocks Including TSLA.

IMO, Investors need to work on Fundamental study only.

It is about the bears. This has gotten personal. I’d like to see CG disgraced and knocked off his pedestal

Let’s see how much more the FED can manipulate this market. Powell will probably go down in history as a fool.
