The Sunset Rocking The Overbids!

Well, it could $.02 and if you have a half dozen kids (like here), they will still fight over it. Come on, let’s just say you net 1.2M. Is 200k per head really that much to squabble over and end family relationships over?

I wouldn’t. But some people in the world would kill for 200k.

Correct, but not applicable here again. Siblings have money. One lives and owns in our fav peninsula city and of course that one is the absolutely greediest one of them all. Go figure…

It’s the greed that got them to where they are today. So of course the one with money is the ass.

That’s just like trump and how he’s profiteering from the presidency. People say he’s got money so he won’t be greedy. Exact opposite of cause and effect.

I draw the line when it is family though. Yes, naive, but that is me. I will fight for my equal share and only that if necessary. I would never take from a sibling. My grandparents and parents raised me right.

Ok, not bad…220k over to settle up at 1.44M.

Yes, those red doors were indeed lucky!!! To the tune of 451k over asking!!!

Seriously overbid and overpaid…

Are you suggesting the Redfin agent erred in advising the buyer???

Absolutely… Redfin agents collect very low commissions and never do any kind of good diligence as to give helpful advice to their clients…

Hmm, starting to see this trend in the Sunset where people are selling off one of the units (or in this case, with the inlaw) of a duplex building as if condos (with HOA too).

Who’s collecting the HOA dues? The owner himself? LOL…

Naive question, how does this work with what really is just a Sunset duplex? So, these are actually declared legally as separate condo units? Odd…

Too much overhead to pay a 3rd party to manage a 2 owner situation. Very stupid arrangement.

Maybe not, but my first impression was the buyer paid too much (granted own unit and studio). I suppose the middle unit sells for what $700k and so you maybe make a little off the total???

Yes, grossly underlisted at 995k. Sells for 1.625M!!!

Shoot, if you really think about it, that whole Top 10 is pretty much that one general area out West…

I think for Sunset is because Jason Chan always list properties for 999k no matter what the true value is…

What, are you suggesting that Jason Chan (The Machine) can move the whole Sunset market by himself??? Yeah, probably…
