678K seems not bad. But $407 HOA
Not too bad by city standard. If it includes water then it’s a pretty good deal.
I found this map where the bigger tech companies are in SOMA. Not sure how updated it is.
I sometimes drove through that area. It seems quiet to me. From the map you can see the gravity of the tech scene is further to the east, esp near the ball park. It’s also nicer and more walkable over there.
This thread should be focused on housing. All other SF politics related posts will be moved to another thread.
I noticed a lot of posts about people trickling back into the city. Looking for roommates and such. My team members are starting to go back to office more regularly as well especially in SF office since they no longer need to wear masks inside the building.
I think Covid is effectively over now, with the rollout of kiddie vaccine and the new wonder drug from Pfizer.
Where is Facebook’s office in SF?
Which thread and can you retitle this one to “THoughts on Housing in San Francisco” then?
Detroit doesn’t have retailers, grocery stores, or gas stations either. SF is well on the way.
I will believe it when I see it.
It’s cute how optimistic they are about how many projects will be built.
As long as SF schools suck, parents will keep moving out when their kids turn 5 years old.
Don’t like big businesses…and small businesses!
We make it too hard for our smallest businesses. Gotta do better.
SF treats homeless and criminals better than hard working taxpayers. Disgusting
Just went here this afternoon:
Overall the vibe of Mission Bay is much nicer than Mid-Market. Buildings are all very new and public space very well planned out. Central Subway is about to open which will connect to SOMA and Chinatown.
