Today Market December 2024

Time to be fearful.

Clearly is in a late bull market. Valuation doesn’t matter. Fundamentals don’t matter. Momentum matters most. This is the phase where price appreciation is high and fast… jump out too early, miss huge gain… jump out too late, become the greatest fool.

Wonder if the stock bull market will die at the same time as the crypto bull market. Most TA people I saw fall into either camps: Bitcoin peaks in March 2025, or October 2025. Nobody thinks the current crypto bull market will last longer than a year.

Hi - I am back after a while. this is my issue right now, I need to get back in with some cash and I am not sure if I time the market, do I put in some money or wait until it drops? sigh. I am also really annoyed about PLTR - I was such a naysayer a couple of years ago and still think they are a glorified consulting firm, but can’t believe its gone so high!

I have no answer to that question. What if you wait but price keeps getting higher? The real danger is FOMO got you bad one day, went all in only to have your heart broken when price crashed.

For me it is an exercise of regret minimization, including highly probable future regrets. Which plan of action will land you at a less awful psychological state of mind in the future?

I still don’t get PLTR, just like I don’t get TSLA. Can’t get them all. We only need one or two.

Bloomberg’s prediction who will get added and who will get removed from Nasdaq 100 this Friday.

.

:joy:

You can’t use current and past fundamentals for these two stocks. You’ve to believe in their future prospects. Ofc, some time in the future if their prospects turn out to be wrong, their stock prices would tumble badly.

Exactly.

Is AI hype over? NVDA and PLTR are in correction territory.

Meanwhile the other six Mag7 are making new ATHs.

Panic selling.

Interest rates and the dollar going nuts.

Feel like a resumption of bull market and not a DCB.
