I know we like to think we have the best of the best here in the States, but interesting to know what is considered the best on the other side of the world…
Singapore is willing to spend money. Both campuses look cool and have many advanced labs. Also, pay a lot of money to get top brains from all over the world to come here to teach, some got subsidized bungalows - most expensive form of housing that only the very rich can afford, build many good quality condos near the campuses for lecturers and staff, build two bus interchanges and MRT stations nearby, scholarships and exchange programs for overseas top students to come.
Top college in Asia can barely crack into top 20 in US. We are so far ahead. Now if Trump goes thru with his cuts in research funding we will get knocked down a peg or two.
