Toys R Us --> next Circuit City or Best Buy

What do you guys think - will Toys R Us emerge stronger from bankruptcy like AA or will it go the way of Circuit City?

And which stocks, apart from Amazon of course, will benefit from this bankruptcy?

Weren’t Walmart and Target eating their lunch before Amazon was even a player in toys? The only reason for a niche retailer to exist is if they offer superior expertise to help shoppers. I wouldn’t put them in that category, so it makes more sense to buy the stuff while you’re at Walmart or Target doing your other shopping.

The fidget spinner craze is perfect example of how irrelevant Toys R Us has become. It spread like wild fire on Youtube and Instagram and parents buy them on Amazon. Before the annoying spinners we had the hoverboards. Same thing. Kids saw that on social media and bought them on Amazon.

I have kids and I haven’t set foot in Toys R Us in years. It’s a sad, sad place.
