Trading wars impact

Many Clouds make new highs, tariff has no effect.

Not a painful war at all, at least not painful enough

“We continue to expect the two sides to reach a trade deal eventually, but this is unlikely to happen in the short term as the war is not painful enough for either side,” Zhiwei Zhang, Deutsche Bank’s chief Asia economist said in a note on Friday.

Good read.

Who is paying for the tariff?
American consumers or American businesses or China’s businesses?

Everybody.

US consumers will pay higher price. US businesses pay tariffs. US and Chinese businesses both pay with slower sales.

That’s why it’s lose-lose-lose.

It’s no coincidence Trump wrecked multiple businesses into bankruptcy.

lose-lose-lose for those three. According to Trump, he is happy to collect the billions. So Uncle Sam win BIG.

Bond traders are more sophisticated than stock traders. So they are usually right. Now you know why is not wise to buy RE in SFBA now, wait for the recession before buying.

I only buy BTC now, no stocks and no houses. Only problem is that BTC can only be bought with cash.

How to buy and sell bitcoin futures? How much leverage can you use?

Where are the cheerleaders for this administration? In hiding? Or mumbling jumbling incoherencies so nobody can slap them on their face with the “I told you!” :joy::joy:

Tired of winning yet? :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Stocks fell sharply Monday, giving back the gains from a strong turnaround in the previous session, after China decided to raise tariffs on some U.S. goods as the ongoing trade war between the world’s largest economies intensified.

The Dow was down more than 600 points after falling more than 700 points earlier, while a steep drop in the tech sector pushed the S&P 500 down by 2.4%. The Nasdaq dropped 3.3%.

“Trade Wars are easy to win”

I read it on the internet.

Xi won’t lose power because of slow growth but might end up behind bars if he agrees to those draconian demands. The millennials in China are not as meek as the baby boomers. Xi’s power base are from these millennials, any deals that humiliate China reminiscent of the weak man of the East won’t go well with them.

China’s top negotiator Liu actually laid out 3 explicit issues for China in an interview but strangely I don’t see much American mainstream media coverage at all. Only saw them on Chinese news. Here it’s all about what America wants and trump’s tweets.

Sent stock market into correction, economy into recession and slow housing market :grinning:
Runaway inflation??? So far no. Recession, why inflation?

Hahahaha  Lighthizer just sent Pelosi the new NAFTA bill this afternoon.

And Mexico just sent the bill to their Senate.

This dude is just so freaking clueless.

Trump says US will impose 5% tariff on all Mexican imports from June 10

The man LOVES tariffs. Tariff man, remember?

Why would any country make deals with Trump? The ink on the last deal isn’t even dry yet and he already walked away.

Trump’s going to single handedly drive an otherwise strong economy into recession. MAGA.

So. Much. Winning.
