2011 was a great time to buy. If he’s comparing now to then, back up the truck and buy, buy, buy.

A Great Depression would be an even better opportunity to buy. Let’s have a depression?

So are you absolutely certain you and your family will still have a job if a recession hits? How about your friends?

2011 was none of those things. I don’t get how that’s your conclusion after posting that the current situation compares to 2011.

Ladies, this is about the idiot in the white house ruining your 401K since last what? March 2018? 25K points? Damn! almost 2K points lost by this imbecile in the white house.

I read the guy’s book “Red Flags”. It details the coming challenges of China. Great book. Highly recommended.

Trump doesn’t care about how such things work. His goal is to gain political points from his supporters and do whatever that make him look like a tough guy.

He is heavily margined. He would be the pig you would be slaughtering.

Can do that?

It was no problem with the Whole Foods 401k plan administered by Fidelity. The paycheck had usual taxes and SS taken out and then everything went to 401k contributions. HR did talked to me though and asked if I’m sure that’s what I wanted. I told her I was sure and she said she has never seen that before.

His fans are super easy to fool. They will support his “policies” no matter what. No questions asked. Trump is right. He could have shot people on 5th ave and people wouldn’t care.

Market goes up: economy is doing great! It shows Trump’s awesome leadership.

Market goes down: it’s a buying opportunity! Again it shows Trump’s awesome leadership.

It’s a cult.

Lol. Oh the irony when minorities in urban areas vote heavily democrat for policies that actually hurt them.

China should do what is best for their economy. Ignore Trump admin’s bullying shouting.

As long as the 200-day keeps holding when tested, then dips are buying opportunities. It’s been true for years now since we’ve been in a bull market. It was true under Obama and still true under Trump.

Many of the people crying about dips under Trump said they were buying opportunities under Obama.

Wow. Only now you know? Trump should pay me to be his advisor instead. :man_facepalming:

Pro tip: with “mutually destruction game” you are supposed to NOT go into those. Well, like nuclear wars you know?

Chinese buyers are seeking to buy Brazilian and Argentine soybeans after trade talks soured, people familiar with the matter said Monday. They were seeking Brazilian cargoes mostly for September and Argentine for August and September, the people said. Inquiries by the world’s top soybean buyer Friday sent the premium for soy at Brazilian ports surging.
