Trump already had a deal with the Chinese. Then last week out of the blue he said never mind and threw away that deal. So the old tariffs went back on. Now Trump is doubling down and seek tariffs on additonal 200B worth of goods.
You bet the Chinese will follow.
Frankly the Chinese should just put 300% tariffs on agriculture goods. I want to see the Midwest farmers pay for their trump votes. You gotta reap what you sow.
The market will keep chugging along.

ya, futures look down almost .8% now. You can see two step drop - one usa announcement, two china.
