Elaine Supkis, who wrote the earthquake piece 4 years is a survivalist type wackjob from upstate NY who would pee in her pants in a 2.0 quake…She knows about nothing about earthquakes except of course what can be googled…Classic case of TMI creating a dumbing down of society. …
The worst thing about Elaine is that she solicits money for her journalistic porn…Probably helps pay for the doublewide trailers she lives in, that will be wisked off in the next tornado. .

Hey, you all know that most major cities, built near water transportation because that was the most efficient at the time, already have been filled over and built upwards?
Haven’t you done the “underground tours” of Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Sacramento? It’s actually quite fascinating.
Even the historic casino building in Antioch has the remnants of a secret, underground passage out to a now flooded area on the riverbank that was an opium den in the late 1800s.

Does that include ground sinking which is happening much faster than sea level rising?

What’s the best place to buy houses and land when bay area is under water? Maybe that could happen in 500 to 500,000 years.
Will Nevada become a coastal states? Vegas might become the new SF.
