What is the cost of converting flat roof to pitched?

Has anyone converted a flat roof to pitched with permits? Would appreciate if you could share the cost for a 1200 sq ft home with garage (500 sq ft).

Thanks for the responses. Does that $50K include adding an attic?

Isn’t there a risk of having to strengthen the walls supporting it? A pitched roof has to weigh more.

Flip side question: What if there’s an attic, but you want to vault the ceiling?
