I actually had a couple of buyers but they could not make up their mind due a vacation rental moratorium up here. Yes we have Commies here too. Plus all the confusion on the tax bill. But the 2-4% savings for the deductions for SALT is gone in 2018
I never base my selling (or buying) decisions on tax treatment though. Except maybe the 2 year primary home owner exemption…
