If your tenants need to be evacuated due to to fire or other natural hazard, do they still need to pay rent? Some evacuation is mandatory and others are advisory or voluntary.

If you can’t collect rent for a few months due to natural disaster and your property has no other damage, will insurance pay for the lost rent?
