What happened? Not interested in TOST? LSPD? OLO? Don’t think they could be future SQ?
Restaurants are low margin businesses. I am not sure many are eager to splurge on IT. I could be wrong tho.
You are outdated.
Premium restaurants do not grow much except a few location. Who will pay $100 a plate for a meal? McDonalds and KFC like chains do not get counted as Premium.

Y’all too busy making Way too much money to care about little poor me. What a time to be alive!
Haha, I tried not to bug people. Maybe they have reasons to hide, like they won the Powerball or something.

Where have you been? A billionaire now?
Since you re-appear in this thread, tell me which are potential 100 baggers going forward i.e. from today over 15-20 years. That is, price at 15-120 years later from now is 100x price today.
You’re probably closer to that than I ever will. When you get there, I will be really happy for you.
I’m still slumming it in Hayward, collecting my rent-controlled rents and dealing with poor working folks struggling to pay their $1000 month rent for a 2 bedroom place…

No one cares about all these Bay Area liquidity events besides me?
The Bay needs some love with all this talk of Tesla moving to Texas @manch . Some of these companies could be the future Tesla of x, y, z industry!
Tesla moving to Texas is Tesla’s loss. Don’t let the door hit your ass on your way out Elon.
There are several start-ups looking to hire good talent in Bay Area that may benefit from this.
What does moving headquarters really mean? Plants are here and expanding.
it doesn’t mean anything. all the high tech stuff (AI, FSD, etc) are here. I know because I know the Tesla people working on it. IMO all the high tech cool stuff isn’t going anywhere for now.
I think moving HQ out of CA for tax or cost reason is usually a sign of weakness. That tells me management is now caring more about costs than growth.
In Tesla’s case it’s not as clear cut. Most of its expenditures are in physical assets like plants. It will go wherever it can milk the most government subsidies. But still I don’t think it’s a good sign for Tesla.
All companies should cut costs. The salaries of high-tech workers is the major expense for the silicon valley tech companies. While the exceptional employees get a large number of RSUs and refresh every year, ,others just keep happy with the annual 3% raise. So, it is wrong to assume Silicon Valley companies do not fret over costs and over pay.
Of course all companies want to cut costs. It’s a matter of management focus. Do they spend their day looking for ways to save pennies? Or the growth trajectory is so stupidly good that they spend most of their time strategizing growth?
We all just have a limited amount of time and energy. It’s all about focus.
Is TSLA a 2021 IPO?
