a. China issue is a geo-political issue (ofc we know). Nevertheless, wonât be as bad as AAPL haters think because China wants to encourage foreign investment. Moreover, increasing sale from India could compensate the reduced sale in China (could be temporary).
b. AAPL is a platform (hardware + OS) company, not known for application excellence. So partnering with other companies for Chatbot is wise.

In general, investors like to use 5-year timeframe. Can monitor the rolling 5-year going forward. Ytd and 1-2 year time frame is for traders and as talking points of mainstream media to sell news to newbies.

Another school of thought is Apple could be integrating Gen AI deep into applications just like how they integrate ML AI into applications. This approach is more natural for average consumers (not CS majors). However, this approach wonât be understood by CS majors as evidenced by CS majors did not realize that all Apple products (hardware and apps) have ML AI built-in. So, stock may suffer since CS majors, investors and commentators are expecting a âstandaloneâ kind such as a AI Chatbot.
Not only you have to do things but also have to talk loud loud about them. For example, many years ago, Apple has incorporated âgreenâ concerns into their products for years but didnât talk about them, market commentators and environments claim that Apple doesnât care forcing SJ has to spend a few minutes during those keynotes to talk about âgreen-nessâ of their products. Going forward, expect Apple has to talk about AI and their investment in AI⌠market are full of loud mouths who force people to share their worldviews and way of doing things⌠this is called FREEDOM. For Asians, would be wise to wait for Apple to release Vision Pro to Asia before getting one since there should be seals configured for Asian faces and heads. Also, not designed for people with small faces and children.
